Dhaka, May 5, 2007. According to a news item received from a GNOBB member, the following have been selected to participate in Lindau 2007 Physiology or Medicine Meeting. Earlier we published a news item provided by Professor Muhammed Zafar Iqbal at Shah Jalal University of Science and technology (SUST), Sylhet, requesting young scientists to apply for grants enabling them to meet Nobel Laureates at Lindau, Germany in the field of Physiology or Medicine. It may be mentioned that the Lindau Council is interested in bringing young Bangladeshi talents into the Lindau dialogue and through it establish a relation in order to foster their vision of Lindau as a window to the world. Lindau Council would like to reach out to the young Bangladeshi’s, who study/work in or out of their homeland and to give them the possibility of joining forthcoming Lindau meetings. GNOBB feel exceedingly delighted to announce their names and wish from the bottom of their hearts that this historic meeting with the world leaders in science inspires them to do world class research in the area of their specialization and place their country’s name in the world atlas of biological and medical science.
